The grapes for this pristine Petit Verdot are grown in Alexander Valley, a California American Viticultural Area just north of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. The fruit was chosen from this area due to the gravelly, sandy loam soil, of which experts suggest are some of the best growing conditions for this varietal. Gradual benchland slopes describe the landscape, with layers of rich soil that help to cultivate this delicious fruit.
