TRIPLE GOLD 2019 Dan Berger's International Wine Competition

Grown in the rich soils of Clarksburg, California, the refreshing palate is crisp and bursting with flavors of white peach, lemon-lime and kissed with a hint of nectar.  The nose is met with delicious aromatic flavors of rustic pear crostata, honeysuckly and a delicate touch of pineapple.  A perfectly balanced, medium bodied, off dry delight!

Bright and pale yellow in color. The nose is of pear, wet stone and a touch of apricot. The palate has a great balance of pear, yellow apple and minerals. Long finish with a great balance of the acid. They oftentimes can be too acidic for my taste and this was perfectly balanced. While I certainly have not drank my way thru all vineyards, I would certainly put this wine up against Spottswoode's Sauvignon Blanc. Which I happen to thoroughly enjoy.
