The Black and White with a Touch of Pink Release Party...the perfect night to unvail our newest wine brand... in love!
Recently, our beloved members, friends, and family helped us celebrate the first varietal of our newest brand, in love, at our Black and White with a Touch of Pink Event.
The first varietal for the in love brand is a blush Montepulciano. "Kissed by the skins"...This precisely dry wine aromatically opens with rose petals, cranberry and pomegranate at the start with a soft creamsicle finish.
Our members and guests showed us how much they were "in love" with this wine, as it sold out in just a matter of days!
Guests were welcomed with a glass of our new 2021 Blanc De Noirs Méthode Traditionnelle as live music performed by Lover's Riff filled the air!
An array of exquisite appetizers prepared by Ignis Provisions were designed to complement the rare and exquisite wines of the evening. This special menu included crème fraiche gougeres topped with caviar and chives, roasted beets with goat cheese mousse, ricotta toast with roasted butternut squash, smoked salmon phyllo cups and steak tostadas.
Chocolate dipped strawberries, artisianal cookies from Queen Of Hearts and champagne infused chocolate truffles completed this night to remember.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for this special evening. Creating lasting memories with our cherished members, dear friends, and beloved family is the most rewarding part of this journey.
If you missed this event, be sure to visit the tasting room where you will fall "in love" with the fun and delicious wines from our new brand!

#2. The Parrot Reunion
There is a man who attends the public tasting every year with a parrot on his shoulder. Annie laughed and said she hoped she would see the parrot again… and then all of a sudden there he was! She put this parrot on her shoulder last year and so it was like a reunion.
After a full day of pouring at the SF Chronicle Public Tasting, we went to a restaurant on Pier 39 to celebrate. Some friends we made at the Santa Barbara Food & Wine Festival last year spotted us by the bar and we were delighted to catch up.
✨Vineyard Update: Our vines are getting the spa treatment to rejuvenate! Although the vineyard is dormant this time of year, it is a vital time for them to recharge before the next growing season that is soon to come!
The winter months are the most ideal time for the vines to be pruned. Check out our video below, where Ruben is pruning today to remove the old wood to make room for new growth in the Spring. 🌱
This labor intensive process is critical to the health of the vineyard & preparation for the new fruit in the coming months! 🍇
We are loving our winter garden! It makes me so happy to walk outside my door and pick the freshest greens for a garden salad to compliment a delicious bottle of wine.
Looking for an easy dinner idea? Gather some greens and throw some shrimp and veggies together! My dressing of choice to pair with this 2018 Chenin Blanc includes olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon, garlic, shallots, salt, peper, and a touch of Dijon Mustard.
Yum!
